Greeley Blues Festival
This weekend we spent time with Jack's parents and our oldest nephew at the Greeley Blues Festival. Jack and one of his friends presented basic blues harmonica to over two hundred kids of all ages (0-90) at the BlueSkool stage. The Colorado Blues Society gave out free harmonicas to everyone. Jack gave a basic theory lesson and then had everyone playing 12-bar blues in G. It was really fun to hear people playing their new harmonicas throughout the day. Jack was in heaven, of course. He had blues and BBQ; the most perfect combination available on Earth. If you would more info about the Colorado Blues Society please go here. This non-profit organization promotes blues in our fair state. Check 'em out!

Good work Jack!
The age old question; why does an art form called "the blues" make you feel so good?
That sounds like so much fun! Good job, Jack!
Why does the art form "the blues" make you feel so good? My guess would be like a good cry relieves the tension and makes you relax "the blues' does the same phyiscal and psychological effect.
I got your e mail
have a very good trip
Love
