Again?

This school has been associated with three sexual misconduct incidences in the last year. They changed their name in order to hide their past. It's embarrassing to have this happening in my own city and in my own field. Of course, it is alleged sex assault. It's really not difficult to keep your pants zipped. Really.

Isn't anyone allowed to be a kid any more?
Come to think of it, this is nothing new. It's been going on for ever, it's only recently that it's been recognized.
It's painful, but if it's out in the open, that means action is being taken to limit it.

We will hear more & more of this, unfortunely.
If these abusers could only know what kind of damage they do to us as a kid......Hopefully they can give the child all the support she needs to talk it over and over & specially to help her to get rid of the guilt that most of the times we are stock with.

The shocking part to me is that this school has had so many instances in such a short amount of time. I know it happens fairly often, statistically speaking. The fact is there are three instances of alleged abuse in one year at this small school. This means that the board is not doing their job very well. I know that a background check cannot prevent this from happening. There must be something systematic at this school that creates this environment. As a teacher it scares me when this happens because you don't know if it was an angry child that wanted revenge or an actual event. Once again teachers get a black eye.
